Biography
Clayton Chrisman was the only son of former Pillow board chair Neil Chrisman, born in New York City in 1971. He was an English major at Colorado College and traveled around the world between his junior and senior year after studies in Florence. Always entrepreneurial, he moved to San Francisco following graduation where he joined several startup companies. He co-founded View Interactive Entertainment there and sold the firm in 2013. Moving to Denver the next year, he founded an e-commerce business serving the sport fishing industry and managed it until his death. He was an avid outdoorsman who became an expert Telemark skier, biker, and sport fly fisherman, and he often enjoyed attending Pillow performances with his family whenever visiting the Berkshires. Fighting illness, he moved back East to stay with his father and stepmother in late 2017, and he died at their home in May 2018 at the age of 46.
