Biography
The Wondertwins are identical twins Billy and Bobby McClain, who were asked at the age of ten to join Boston's first professional street dance crew, The Funk Affects. During this time, they opened for hip-hop icons such as Run DMC, KRS-One, LL Cool J, and EPMD, to name a few. After eight years, they decided to branch off to become The Wondertwins and have since made many notable accomplishments. They have danced in Bobby Brown’s U.K./U.S.A. “Don't Be Cruel” tour and Purple Rain co-star Apollonia Kotero’s U.K. tour. The Wondertwins were also the choreographers for the New Kids on the Block “Magic Summer" tour, are the six-time winners of Amateur Night at The Apollo Theater, and performed at Breakin’ Convention at The Apollo Theater. Recent accomplishments include the “2012 Pioneers of Hip-Hop Dance" award, and being named Dance Expo's first "Hip-Hop Ambassadors" recipients, which includes a six-country tour. The Wondertwins were featured dancers with the legendary Maurice Hines Jr. in the sold-out performances of Apollo Club Harlem at The Apollo Theater and are headliners at David White's The Yard.

The Wondertwins have been the directors of the nonprofit enrichment and performing arts program Project Rise for 17 years. The program enrolls 110 kids, ages seven to 17, from low income families in Boston.
