Description:
A set of six one shoulder blue cotton dresses trimmed with red cotton tape. Worn by female dancers of the Denishawn Company in Dance of the Corn Maidens from The Feather of the Dawn.

Item Details:
Six one shoulder, heavy cotton dresses decorated with red cotton tape around the neckline, across the bodice, and around the hem. The full skirt falls from a waist band. The dresses fasten with hooks and bars to one side. These dresses are based on traditional Hopi mantas. Would have been worn with leg wrappings C-152_1-4_a-b, C-153_1-4, C-154_1-3_a-b, blouses C-156_1-5 and bloomers C-155_1-6.
