Description:
Six feather decorations worn by Ted Shawn's Men Dancers in Ponca Indian Dance (a total of five Men Dancers were in this work)

Item Details:
Two star burst shaped feather motifs of shaped turkey feathers trimmed with red, yellow, purple, and green marabou. In the center is set a circular mirror (mirror missing on one). The motifs appear to have been held onto the upper arms with elastic loops decorated with beads and shells.
C-174_3 Is inscribed with BM (Barton Mumaw).
