Sea Green Silk Crepe Chitons, Unknown Work, Denishawn (set of seven)
Seven sea green silk crepe chiton style dresses. Worn by female members of the Denishawn Company in an unknown work. These costumes were possibly worn in The Prophetess: An Allegorical Dance Drama from 1931.
Each chiton consists of a v-neck dress caught under the bust and around the hips with bands of elastic. The bottom third of the dress is split into one panel at the back and three at the front.
