Description:
A cream silk embroidered Chinese cape/collar most likely bought by Howry in China on the Denishawn tour in 1925-26.

Item Details:
A cream silk collar/cape decorated with very fine colored silk embroidery of insects, foliage, and people. The collar is edged with bands of colored silk and braid and finished with a crocheted edge and tassels in different colored silks. Inside a label reads Mary Howry.
