In a pilot partnership with Adam Weinert and Brett Perry of the Dancing Farmer, LLC, Jacob’s Pillow inaugurates Jacob’s Garden. Event includes performance by Brother(hood) Dance!, welcome by Pamela Tatge, remarks by Melanie George, Nipmuc blessings and garden offerings led by Kristen Wyman (Nipmuc) of Eastern Woodland Rematriation, Denishawn performance staged by Adam Weinert, remarks by Adam Weinert, and Ted Shawn line dancing called by Alexander Udis. Black on Earth; choreography: Brother(hood) Dance!; music: Okwui Okpokwasili. Tillers of the Soil; choreography: Ruth St. Denis, Ted Shawn; music: Walter Meyrowitz.
