Description:
A set of six gold net tunics worn in the role of The Daughters of Jerusalem in The Song of Songs.
Item Details:
The tunic consist of a long rectangle of gold net with bound holes for the arms and head. The hem is fringed with gold fringe. These costume would have been worn with headdresses (C-235_1-6), body decorations (C-236_1-6), arm and leg bands (C-237_1-24), leotards (C-238_1-6), and scarves (C-241_1-6).
The costumes for The Song of Songs were designed by Ted Shawn after Tissot and Moreau and made by George Horn.
