A pair of Chinese embroidered turquoise slippers possibly used by the Denishawn Company in General Wu Says Farewell to his Wife. Owned and worn by former Denishawn Dancer Mary Howry.

Item Details:
The slippers have thick leather soles and the uppers are embroidered with yellow, pink, and green flowers. A label in each shoe reads Mary Howry, a second label indicates they came from a shop in Hong Kong and were Made in China.
