A tall headdress worn by Ruth St. Denis in Ishtar of the Seven Gates.

Item Details:
The headdress is a tall cone shaped hat made from buckram decorated with three bands of deep gold braid, two bands of gold and black wave patterned brocade, and four bands of gold hanging coins.

This headdress was given to Karoun Tootikian by Ruth St. Denis. Tootikian worked with St. Denis from 1945. The costumes were then gifted to Stephanie Clemens and were used up until the 1990s.
