Item Details:
Designer Earle Franke copied examples of Hopi Kachinas (spirits) illustrated in Hopi Katcinas, Drawn by Native Artists, a book of illustrations by Jesse Walter Fewkes published in 1904. The Kachinas were worn with hand painted mantas C-157_1-7.
