Description:
A large square cut grey panne velvet robe lined with red satin. Worn Ted Shawn in an unknown work. 

Item Details:
The large robe is edged in gold rope braid at the neck and gold wove trim at the cuffs. The cuffs are also decorated with metal tassels. Around the bottom third is a hand painted design, mainly in gold and also colors, decorated with glass gems and satin ribbon crosses. Possibly worn by Shawn in Church Service in Dance Form, 1917.
