This talk features local historian Bernard Drew and Director of Preservation Norton Owen with remarks by Davis’s nephew Wray Gunn. Warren Davis was the craftsman who provided the Ted Shawn Theatre’s immense beams, a local hero, and a pioneering Black businessman connected with W.E.B. DuBois. In 2021, Jacob's Pillow named The Warren David Welcome Center in honor of this important figure.
