Green and pink full skirt possibly worn by Ruth St. Denis as an underskirt in Nautch Dance.
Item Details:
A pale green tarletan skirt. The skirt is very full similar to a Nautch skirt is style, it contains roughly 38 yards of fabric. The waist band and hem are edged with a band of pink. The hem is trimmed with gold lurex braid. Probably purchased in India.
