Description:
A set of six headdress worn in the role of The Daughters of Jerusalem (six dancers in total) in The Song of Songs.

Item Details:
The headdress consist of two large gold lurex covered discs (worn over the ears), around each disc is a woven trim of red, silver, and green. The headdress is secured with elastic and cotton tape. These headdress would have been worn with body decorations (C-236_1-6), arm and leg bands (C-237), leotards (C-238_1-6), tunics (C-240_1-6), and scarves (C-241_1-6).
The costumes for The Song of Songs were designed by Ted Shawn after Tissot and Moreau and made by George Horn.
