Description:
A set of six lurex braid body decorations worn in the role of The Daughters of Jerusalem in The Song of Songs.

Item Details:
Each decoration consists of strips of silver woven braid with green and red lurex, which wrap around the upper arms, torso, and hips. The decorations end in two diamonds of gold lurex fabric (one at the front and one at the back) set with glass gems. These costume would have been worn with headdresses (C-235_1-6), arm and leg bands (C-237_1-24), leotards (C-238_1-6), tunics (C-240_1-6), and scarves (C-241_1-6).
The costumes for The Song of Songs were designed by Ted Shawn after Tissot and Moreau and made by George Horn.
