Description:
Four heel and ankle decoration. Worn as part of an unknown costume by members of Ted Shawn's Men Dancers.

Item Details:
The decoration consists of a piece of black fabric covering the heel and trimmed with gold painted wooden and plastic beads and orange cotton trim. Under the heel is a pad of brown canvas. Attached at either side of the ankle is a triangular shaped panel of black fabric trimmed with orange cotton trim and decorated with a gold painted gumnut and green feathers. From the point of the triangle a loop of elastic is attached which would have secured the item to the wearers foot.
C-469_1-2 Inside is inscribed the name Frank Delmar.
C-469_3 Inside is inscribed the name Mac (Wilbur McCormack).
